Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

Lauterbrunnen is a little town 20 minutes from Interlaken Switzerland, and it's name means "many waterfalls" because there are 72 of them.  From here there are gondolas that go up to carfree villages and there is excellent outdoor activities of all types here.  We've seen so many parasailers, base jumpers, bikers and climbers.  The church bells ring for about half an hour every night and there are grazing cows everywhere with bells that make this whole area so melodic.

Our apartment is so perfect.  We have a view from our front door of the Staubach falls, the second highest falls in Switzerland.   There is a hike from our apartment that goes under the falls (we will hopefully get to that when we've had our fill of gondolas and carfree cities).

I would love to live here, it is truly paradise for me.
