Childrens adventure trail - Murren, Switzerland

What an epic hike!  The children's adventure trail begins in Murren, a picturesque car-less city on top of a mountain.  We had to take 2 steep and stunning gondola rides to get to Murren.  On the way up, we could see part of the via Ferrara trail here, it is an exciting trail in which you have to be clipped onto a safety cable the entire way.  We saw the Nepalese bridge, Jaida wants to do this trail but the minimum age is 10.  I look forward to when she is a bit older because I would LOVE to do this with her!

The children's adventure trail goes up the mountain about 200ft with fun stuff for kids along the way.  There were slides and swings and logs to walk along and forts and see saws.  Once you get to the top, there is a funicular that will take you back down but the last one runs at 5 and we missed it so we had to walk back down which doubled our fun!  It is a much quicker walk down.
